Proposal for the use of Air Power in Naxal affected areas Justified or not???

Recently these days the violence by Maoist have increased by leaps and bound in naxal affected areas. Killing of 76 CRPF personnel in Dantewara district of Chhatishgarh and again killing of 30 Civilians in a bus bomb blast is a clear example of it. Along with that they are continuing to harm Govt. property and disrupt civil life in Bihar and Jharkhand as well.

Bihar, Jharkhand, Orrisa, Andhra Pradesh and Chhatishgarh has become hotbeds for the Maoist. They are running parallel govt. in their areas and govt. authorities don't have any influence on them. Now the question arises, why the situation has reached up to this extent?


if we look back the reason behind this, the govt policies is sole responsible for it. In the naxal affected areas, still there are lack of basic infrastructure. The tribals are still very far away from the civilized life, living with the limited resources. No govt. welfare schemes are running in the affected areas.The Govt in concerned states are more concerned with promoting corporate interest in tribal areas than in enforcing their rights and entitlements.


In my opinion, Military operation is not the solution of this problem. In a meeting with Home Minister P Chidambaram, Chhatishgarh chief minister Raman Singh and even CRPF has also requested to use of Air Force in naxal affected areas, but this plan will not be fruitful . Let me explain you why??


Air Force has been given role to protect our air space from enemy attack as well as to help civilians during national calamities by providing logistic support and rescue operation. Air Force is using the weapon of mass destruction and using these weapons in our territory will kill innocent people i.e tribals along with naxalites too. So, finally it will strengthen the naxalism. So, Air Strike in naxal affected areas are not justified in my views.


Andhra Predesh had really done very good job during Mr. Reddy regime. He tried to set up Govt institution in affected areas apart from that made roads, started many welfare schemes, improved the intelligence source as well as planned for  the adequate training for police forces. The result is there in front of everyone. The casualties has been reduced to minimum in those areas by Naxals.


Instead of this, Government should try and take following steps to neutralize this problem :

• Extensive Ground Training for Police Forces ( Especially to fight effectively in Jungles/dense forest).
• Enhance the Intelligence Input so that appropriate actions can be taken to handle the worst situation in time.
• Provides basic needs of the people staying in affected areas i.e Road, Schools, Colleges, Employment etc. I mean they should brought up to join the main stream of life.
• Give tribals a bigger role in the management of forest and forest resources.
• Ensuring active participation of tribals in development process.
• Implementation of 'Panchayti Raj' system in affected areas.
• Govt should also try to find out from where these organisations get funds and arms  and ammunition and try to block it.

If these steps will be taken honestly, no doubt this left-wing extremism can be contained easily in near future.....!! Let's hope for the best.

Automatic System Log in In Windows for users and faster booting...!

Many times it happens that during installing any driver or software in the software requires re-booting many times and if the Administrator account is password protected, then it becomes annoying to enter password every time you log on to the system.


So, if you want to get rid of this problem, just follow these steps and you will able to log on to your system automatically and it will take less time for booting, isn't it?? Just making a little bit change in registry will help us to do so...let's see how?

1. open the Registry editor  by opening Start/Run and then enter 'regedit' and click 'ok'.
2. Now navigate to the 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon'. 
3. Open the entry 'AltDefaultUserName' and as the value, enter the name of the desired user account that needs to log in automatically.
4. Now in the right pane itself, create a new 'Character String' by right clicking on blank space and then select new\Character String and give the name as 'AutoAdminLogon'.
5. Double click on it and set the value to '1'.
6. Subsequently, create a another character string in the same fashion as mentioned in point number 5 and give the name as 'DefaultPassword'.
7. Double click on it and in 'Value' field, assign the password of the user account which needs to be log on automatically.

Just restart the computer and you are there with a new effects.


To Deactivate this feature, Just set the value to '0' in the 'AutoAdminLogon' string.


NOTE:- In public Computer, the automatic log in is a security risk. So, we should use this feature as long as it is required and then it is deactivated soon to avoid misuse of computer.

NARCO Test banned by Supreme Court, Right or Wrong??

In a latest move by Supreme Court, Narco Test, Brain Mapping Test and Polygraph Test has been banned as the Supreme court has found it illegal and violation of the fundamental right of a citizen not to incriminate himself and his right to privacy under Article 20.3 and Article 20.


Let's discuss briefly what these tests are and how these are conducted:-


NARCO TEST: It is basically a test, in which the accused person is induced a sleep-like state that helps overcome resistance to questioning and helps the expert to find out the truth. But during this test an injection, which is given to the suspect is really harmful for his health and it can lead to mental disorder later in future.


POLYGRAPH TEST : It is also known as Lie Detector Test, in which an instrument is used that tracks body indices like blood pressure, pulse, breathing rhythms and skin conductivity. The suspect is asked a series of question and if he lies, then it can be caught by body indices variations.


BRAIN-MAPPING TEST : It is also called Brain Finger-printing. In this test, a sensor is attached to the Suspect's head and then he is made to watch images or listen to sounds usually related to the crime scene. The Sensor monitors electrical activity in the brain and pick up waves that are only generated if the suspect is familiar with the images or sounds.


So, now let's begin how much these tests are useful for the Cops?? Though these tests are scientific in nature and save the suspect to undergo 'Third Degree' by Cops, but so far these tests are widely rejected and questioned by leading experts. In India, so far these tests which were carried out on various suspects didn't give enough clue to the Court the reach to the verdict.


So, bad time for the all the major suspects...............!! Now if they can't say truth to Police in Straight forward way, then They have to undergo "Third Degree" by Police....That will be really tough time for them. You might have seen in the films, how painful it is???


So according to me, With some modification in the these test, it would had go on....because these are the clean test to find out the truth and don't violates the human rights. The modification includes:

• Find out ways to reduce the side effects of the chemical used in Narco test.
• Make some more scientific advancement and suitable changes to make these tests more reliable and trustworthy.
• These tests should be conducted with the Suspect's Consent while keeping in view of their personal health.

Tricks to prevent data theft via USB pen drives................!!

Well, Friends as you can remember that in my previous post dated 21 March 2010 under the label "Computer tricks and tips", i had described to disable Mass storage device i.e Pen drive, MMC, external hard disk etc. Disabling the USB port for Mass storage device completely may be annoying for you sometimes.....!!As it don't detect any Mass storage device at all in your system, so even if you have brought some data from somewhere, you can't copy it without changing value in the registry again...isn't it??


So, Today i am here with one Solution.......! By making this little bit change in Registry, you will able to keep your data safe from un-authorised access. By following the below tweaks, any Thief will be able to use pen drive in your computer, but he will not able to transfer data from Computer to pen drive, but can transfer the data from pen drive to Computer.....Cool naa? That's Write protect mode......ok


Here is the step by step process to accomplish your task :-

1. Start the Registry editor with 'Start/Run then type 'regedit' in box and click on 'ok'.
2. Open the 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Systems \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ StorageDevicePolicies' key in the tree structure of the editor.
3. If this doesn't exist, Create it with right click on the left pane and select 'New' and then 'key'. Rename it with 'StorageDevicePolicies'.
4. Double click on it. Now in the right pane, create a DWORD by right clicking on blank area, Select 'New' and then click on 'DWORD' from the context menu.
5. Rename it with 'Writeprotect'. Now double click on it and set its value to '1'. Click on 'OK' button and exit the Registry editor by clicking on 'File' menu bar option and then 'exit'.

Finally, Restart the Computer to activate the Write Protection function. Now Nobody will able to steal your personal data from your computer with pen drive. Are you happy now?


Note:- This action can be performed by user with 'Administrator' account only. Later on if you want to allow date to be copied to a USB drive in the future again, change the value of the 'WriteProtect' key in the registry editor to '0'.
